Adam Goldberg Joins Inferno

Alongside Sasha Gray & Harold PerrineauThe ongoing fight from the Lovelace biopics has clearly joined its next phase: co-star casting. Yesterday, we introduced word from the Amanda Seyfried-starring Lovelace getting a couple of stars and today competing project Inferno (featuring Malin Akerman as Linda) is firing back, roping in Adam Goldberg, Harold Perrineau and Sasha Gray.Goldman will have Harry Reems, the porn star who labored with Lovelace (then Linda Boreman) around the infamous Deep Throat film that rocketed her to skin flick superstardom, which she briefly accepted before renouncing her former career and writing memoir Ordeal about her hardships.Perrineau, meanwhile, is on as Sammy Davis Junior, who had been Lovelace's lover for some time. Grey's role isn't specified, but after switching from her very own porn world to mainstream acting with Steven Soderbergh's The Girlfriend Experience, Gray will without doubt function as a key consultant on any raunchier material.Matthew Wilder reaches the helm of that one, that will focus more about Lovelace's troubles, together with her book Ordeal since it's source material. Matt Dillon has already been also aboard as Chuck Traynor, who initially spotted Boreman and cast her in Deep Throat. The happy couple also married, though their relationship was tumultuous at the best.Wilder aims to start shooting the following month, and so the race is going to be onto see who are able to bring their Lovelace story out first.
